Deliberations on The Life Divine: Volume 1

This book covers the explanations of the key ideas of the first six chapters of Sri Aurobindo’s work The Life Divine Book I. The author has selected a few ideas and passages from each of these chapters, has substantiated with other readings and references and discussed it further. At the end of each chapter a summary of the major ideas has been added for a quick revision.

This volume essentially deals with the two world-views of that of the Materialism and Spiritualist. There has always been a debate between the believers of these two approaches to life. Sri Aurobindo has dealt with it elaborately in this section and has brought out a grand synthesis of both.
